Job Description

National Capital Flag Co. located in Alexandria, Virginia is the leading manufacturer of U.S. Government, Military, appliqued and embroidered flags. We are in the process of expanding into commercial printed flags. We are looking for a Production Designer / Press Operator that will be responsible for all aspects of print production, including assisting in designing flags, operating RIP Software, moving the flags through the production process, and delivering them to our finishing department.

Additionally, NCF manufactures custom printed, embroidered, and applique flags and banners of U.S. Government Agencies, all branches of the U.S. Military, commercial customers, and private use. There may be opportunities to learn and assist with this process.

Qualifications:

High level of experience in Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw required Working knowledge of pre-press / RIP software (ergosoft) Working knowledge of 4C Printing Digital press operations experience Excellent attention to detail Ability to learn new software Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within tight deadlines Excellent communication skills- be able to work with the sales and sewing departments Must be able to carry 50 pound rolls of fabric

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
