Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Digital Press Operator to join this fun, fast growing, privately held label printer in Medford, NJ. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our digital/hybrid label press during our newly forming B -Shift. This is a crucial role in the growth of our company. During this step of the manufacturing process, you will be ensuring that materials are accurately produced to spec and ready to go into rewinding and inspection.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Domino Ink Jet Hybrid Press
- Load materials onto the machine and adjust settings for proper alignment, color, and spec requirments
- Monitor the printing and finishing process to ensure accurate cutting and prevent any issues or defects in the printed product

- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Inspect materials for quality and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:

- Be a good human

- Genuinely care about doing a good job,

- Eagerness to learn and grow and be part of something special
- Must be able to read and write

- Basic math skills to process jobs to customer specifications
- Possess the ability to work independently and in a group setting
- Experience in running a digital or flexo label press. Experince with a hybrid is a bonus.
- Ability to use calculator and read a ruler

Must be able to stand for several hours at a time and lift rolls and boxes weighing up to 50 lbs

- Forklift experience is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and minor repairs
