Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Supervisor to oversee our dietary department. This role is vital in ensuring that all food production, preparation, and service meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Manage food production processes, including cooking, preparation, and presentation of meals. Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies to maintain adequate stock levels. Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to foster a productive work environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop menus that meet dietary needs and preferences. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations. Address customer service inquiries and feedback to enhance guest satisfaction. Maintain records related to food handling, safety inspections, and employee training.

Experience

Proven experience in food service management or a related field is essential. Strong background in food production, culinary arts, or hospitality management preferred. Supervising experience within a kitchen or restaurant environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with dietary department operations, including catering and banquet experience. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the food industry. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
