PRIMARY PURPOSE: Performs routine duties related to preparation and serving of food. Perform duties in accordance with established procedures and policies of the Food and Nutritional Services department.
Minimum Requirements
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 1 year experience in food service operations preferred SPECIAL SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to do simple calculations and record keeping. Basic computer skills desirable. EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS KNOWLEDGE: Computers and other office equipment as it relates to the job. Safety equipment as it relates to the job. Food service equipment as it relates to the job. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to bend and lift using proper body mechanics. Must be able to stand at least 7 hours a day and work in a hot humid kitchen.
