Grade A Auto Parts and Recycling is adding another member to the team!

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be essential in ensuring the optimal operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair tasks.

Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

Maintaining equipment in working order

Troubleshoots to diagnose problems; repairs and performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment.

Installing, replacing, or changing machine parts and attachments, according to product specifications.

Cutting, shaping, smoothing, attaching, or assembling pieces of metal, wood, or rubber, or other repair and maintenance to machines and equipment.

Reading work order or following oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved.

Undertakes actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc. on equipment for preventive maintenance purposes.

Undertakes precision alignments and significant other tests associated with installation, qualification and/or calibration of equipment and machinery.

Following up on projects needed for the business.

Ensuring a clean and safe environment

Accurately document results of completed requests.

Qualifications/ Skills needed:

Experience with Diesel engines

Able to weld / fabricate metal

Comfortable working in all weather conditions

Able to work independently and with a team to achieve goals.

Displays thorough and consistent communication.

Practice good problem-solving skills.

Provides resourceful solutions for repairs.

Can safely operate equipment such as forklifts, man lifts while adhering to safety standards.

Consistent with providing up to date maintenance for equipment in the company.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
