DIESEL TECHNICIAN/MECHANIC

Immediately hiring Permanent a Full Time Diesel Technicians to support our Truck Fleet at Liberty Waste Solutions :

A-Tech 1st Shift $32.00 - $38.00r B-Tech 2nd Shift $23.00 - $30.00r

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Maintains a working knowledge of the following vehicle and equipment components and systems, with the ability to perform preventative and repair maintenance functions:

Diagnose and repair diesel engines, chassis, bodies, and other heavy equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and control systems. Repair company equipment in shop, and on-road service. Use electronic tools to identify malfunctions. Welding and fabrication skills a plus

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred Basic tools, required Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time Advanced analytical and repair skills Four (4) years or more Relevant work experience, preferred Effective communication skills Must have basic computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc Must have a valid driver's license, be reliable and punctual. Demonstrate ability to coach/mentor/influence others
