DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution business in

Hazard, KY.

You will make an impact in the following ways:


Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools

RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:


Completes complex internal engine repairs Mid-Range and Heavy-Duty engine experience Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)


Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution


Locally valid driving permit (Preferred)


This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products

QUALIFICATIONS

Good computer skills with the normal Microsoft programs used for typing up service repair steps, diagnostic troubleshooting, good knowledge of repairing Cummins engines (prefer both mid-range and heavy duty). Prefer tech school/college diploma Minimum 2 years experience A current valid license is required for this role Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
