Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Supervisor to oversee operations within our Fleet Shop. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills and supervising experience, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role involves coordinating PM's , managing staff, and maintaining a safe working environment while maintaining company fleet tractors, pickup trucks and forklifts.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations within the shop, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Manage and motivate a team of skilled workers, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain safety and operational efficiency. Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve any issues that may arise during production. Maintain accurate records of pm's per DOT regulations, employee performance, and inventory levels. Implement training programmes for new employees to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role for a fleet of Heavy Duty Tractors and Trailers Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with staff at all levels. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues, and basic diesel engine diagnosing A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all employees. Pay: $80,260.94 - $130,000.00 per year
