We are currently hiring qualified Diesel Mechanics to join their team in North Salt Lake City, UT.

Looking to hire Field Tech Diesel Mechanics to perform maintenance on Heavy Construction Equipment. The ideal candidate will have an extended knowledge and experience in Diesel engines and diagnostics of engines, conveyor belts on pavers, braking, electrical and air-hydraulic systems. Must be able to trouble-shoot a wide variety of repairs quickly at times so services can continue. Will also train on specialized equipment.

During the summer months

Mechanics will meet the crew in Salt Lake, UT and drive the mechanics truck and follow the rest of the crew to the job site. Job sites will be in UT, ID, WI, NV, and possibly South Dakota & North Dakota. The job sites will be determined in advanced by the Superintendent.

Winter Season:

November - March/early April Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00am-4:00pm 40 hour work week.

During the winter season the mechanics will be working in the shop.

Summer Season:

April - late October/November Schedule: Mechanics will be away from home at the job site anywhere from 2 - 2.5 weeks at a time. 6:00am - when it gets dark; 45-65 hours a week.

$60 per diem including paid for hotel.

Off Season:

Shut down in December and start back up in January

Pay Range:

$24-$36; based on experience
