Sheboygan, WI -- Onsite (Union) -- Gardner Denver Thomas, 1419 Illinois Ave., Sheboygan, WI 53081

Schedule:

3rd shift, Sunday 11:00 p.m. start through Friday 7:00 a.m. end (11:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.)

Your Nightly Rhythm

-----------------------

It's just before midnight on Sunday as production comes alive. You secure your protective gear, review the process sheet, and move to your assigned die casting cell. You confirm the die condition, verify the setup, and work with your Supervisor or Group Leader to double-check readiness before the first shot. As alloys heat and cycle times stabilize, you fine-tune machine settings, keep a close eye on part quality, and document checks on the required timeline. When needed, you pivot--setting up the ladle, auto-spray, robotic interface, or trim press to keep throughput on pace. If a hiccup appears, you troubleshoot and assist maintenance to restore uptime.

What You'll Do

------------------

Set up and run assigned die casting machines; perform changeovers and verify setups prior to production. Visually inspect parts and review die condition throughout the run. Remove and replace die casting dies; adjust machine parameters to meet quality and productivity targets. Configure auxiliary equipment including ladle, auto-spray, robotics, and trim press as required. Follow gauging and part check procedures strictly on the prescribed timeline. Work from verbal instructions and Process Sheets; assist maintenance with repairs as directed.

High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma preferred. 1+ years of experience in a die casting environment. Ability to read, write, and interpret simple drawings; solid communication skills. Comfort working from verbal direction from a supervisor and collaborating with a team.
