Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join a Government Consulting company located in the Washington, DC area. The DevSecOps Engineer work in a remote capacity and is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure systems and networks.

***Must be local to the D.C. area

Responsibilities of the DevSecOps Engineer include:

\xc2\xb7 Develop Terraform modules for security needs, to include Kubernetes cluster builds (EKS) and general AWS resources

\xc2\xb7 Deliver end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment

\xc2\xb7 Configure and build Kubernetes clusters (EKS) implementing security best practices

\xc2\xb7 Use GitOps process builds leveraging Flux CD, creating security configurations for application and improvements to currents designs

Qualifications of the DevSecOps Engineer include:

\xc2\xb7 5+ years of cybersecurity and/or information assurance experience

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of networking technologies

\xc2\xb7 Experience using GitOps and Gitlab

\xc2\xb7 NIST Cybersecurity and Risk Management frameworks knowledge

\xc2\xb7 Certification: Security+ CE

Compensation for the DevSecOps Engineer includes:

\xc2\xb7 Salary Range: $140,000+ depending on experience and qualifications
