Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, 4+ years DevOps engineering in enterprise environments, 3+ years infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet), 1-2 years in a Lead role

AWS DevOps Professional, Azure DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible

Position Summary

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks supporting IRS Criminal Investigation's digital forensics platform. Drive infrastructure-as-code initiatives while ensuring compliance with federal security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions for Nutanix and cloud environments Create automated testing and deployment frameworks Implement container orchestration and microservices architecture Develop monitoring and alerting automation Support legacy code migration to modern API frameworks

Required Experience

4+ years DevOps engineering in enterprise environments 3+ years infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet) Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Background in government or regulated industry DevOps practices Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) Previous or current experience with the IRS
