Position Summary:


The Development Operations Manager owns our CRM strategy and provides the operational backbone for our fundraising success. You'll lead annual giving campaigns, donor stewardship, and data management to drive individual donor growth toward our $500,000+ annual goal. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, transforming data into actionable insights that deepen donor relationships and support our mission of creating life-changing mentoring relationships.

What You'll Do


Own our CRM strategy by managing comprehensive data entry, developing protocols, conducting cleanup projects, and training team members while ensuring database integrity and seamless third-party integrations Create dashboards and reports that reveal giving trends, inform fundraising strategy, and guide leadership decisions through data analysis and monthly financial reconciliation with our CFO Ensure exceptional donor experience by sending acknowledgments within 48 hours of every gift and crafting stewardship materials that authentically communicate impact Design and execute creative bi-annual appeals and giving day campaigns (Give for Good Louisville, Giving Tuesday) that contribute to our $500,000+ individual giving goal Analyze campaign performance and donor data to continuously improve retention rates, identify new opportunities, and optimize fundraising results Respond to all donor inquiries with professionalism and warmth while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy Collaborate across departments and with external vendors to bring fresh ideas to life and ensure our digital platforms make giving accessible and inspiring

What We're Looking For


Required Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or Nonprofit Management (or equivalent experience) 2-3 years of fundraising experience with demonstrated success in donor relationship management 2+ years of hands-on experience with Raiser's Edge CRM platform Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with state-required insurance Stable internet connection for remote work capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:


Proven experience developing successful annual fund campaigns and donor retention strategies Background in data analysis and reporting within nonprofit environments Knowledge of giving day platforms and peer-to-peer fundraising tools Cross-cultural competency and experience working in diverse communities
