The Wildlife Center of the North Coast (WCNC) is seeking a part-time
Development Coordinator
to support fundraising, donor relations, and communications. This role is essential to helping WCNC fulfill its mission of wildlife rehabilitation, education, and conservation.
Key Responsibilities:
Process donations and manage donor acknowledgements
Maintain donor records in CRM (Bloomerang preferred)
Respond to donor inquiries and provide excellent customer service
Assist with fundraising campaigns, appeals, memberships, and sponsor programs
Manage social media posting and assist with content creation
Support event planning, logistics, and outreach
Track merchandise inventory and coordinate reorders
Qualifications:
Experience in fundraising, development, or a related role (nonprofit preferred)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience with CRM databases, social media, and event coordination
Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends
Commitment to WCNC's mission and values
Schedule & Pay:
~20 hours per week, flexible scheduling
Some evening/weekend availability with advance notice
