Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Detox/Residential Program Director to lead our team in providing exceptional care for residents in a supportive and therapeutic environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of care and operational excellence within our detox and residential programs. The Program Director will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and direct services to clients in a supportive, structured environment. Key Responsibilities:

Collaboration:

Communicate and collaborate with case managers, partners, public guardians, and other community partners to coordinate client care.

Assessment and Intervention:

Provide ongoing assessment and therapeutic intervention, ensuring interventions align with clients' physical and psychological needs.

Leadership and Supervision:

Provide leadership and clinical supervision to the case management team, including employees pursuing licensure.

Documentation and Auditing:

Oversee case management team documentation, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Staff Training and Development:

Assist with onboarding new case management staff and provide ongoing training to support their professional growth.

Interdisciplinary Team Participation:

Actively engage in interdisciplinary care team meetings to ensure holistic client care.

Additional Duties:

Perform other duties as assigned or needed to ensure the efficient operation of the facility.

Qualifications:

Education and Licensure:

Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) or Professional Clinical Counselor (PCC) from an accredited institution. Current, active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADCi, CADCii, or CADCiii) in the state of California. Approved by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) to provide supervision to case managers/interns pursuing hours towards licensure.

Experience:

Minimum of

2 years

post-graduate direct clinical experience in a mental health or substance use setting. At least

1 year

in a leadership or supervisory role within a relevant setting.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in person and over the phone. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to perform well under pressure and resolve conflicts efficiently. Positive interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients. Demonstrates sound decision-making, initiative, and the ability to work independently. Compassion for and commitment to working in a mental health environment. Experience with Kipu.

Additional Requirements:

Must meet all health requirements, including TB testing. Must pass a criminal background check. Strong commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional standards.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
