Center is a premier inpatient detox and residential treatment facility located in Cathedral City, CA. We are dedicated to providing safe, compassionate, and effective care to individuals beginning their journey of recovery. We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Detox Technicians to join our multidisciplinary team.
Job Summary
We are looking for compassionate and detail-oriented Detox Technicians to monitor and support clients during the detoxification and residential phases of treatment. The ideal candidate is proactive, familiar with regulatory standards, and capable of managing client care documentation efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Client Monitoring
: Conduct and document 30-minute observational rounds, ensuring client safety and well-being.
Medical Support:
Assist with medication management, including observation of self-administration, and accurately record vitals (blood pressure, pulse, etc.) in accordance with detox protocols.
Documentation
: Utilize KIPU EMR proficiently to document daily progress notes, shift reports, and incident reports.
Group Facilitation
: Lead and facilitate educational and support groups for clients in a residential setting.
Admissions & Discharge
: Assist with the intake process, including property searches, orientation, and urine drug screenings, as well as discharge procedures.
Crisis Management
: De-escalate emotionally charged situations and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
Qualifications
Required:
Certification: Must possess a current RADT (Registered Alcohol Drug Technician) certification.*
Education
: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Availability
: Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Skills
: Proficiency with KIPU Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
Core Competency
: Comfortable with medication management protocols and group facilitation.
Preferred (High Priority Candidates):
Experience: 2+ years of experience in the substance abuse/behavioral health field.
Credentialing: RADT Credential with verified Allies Healthcare credential (Candidates with this specific combination will be given top priority).
Schedule
8-hour shifts / 12-hour shifts
Day, Evening, and Overnight shifts available
Full-time, Part-time, and Per Diem opportunities
