The Desktop Support Technician will serve as the
first point of contact
for all IT support needs, including hardware, software, printing, connectivity, mobile devices, and workstation configuration. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, imaging devices, performing installations, and ensuring an excellent end-user experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide daily support for PC hardware/software (Windows 10, Office 365, enterprise apps).
Install, configure, and maintain computer operating systems and images.
Troubleshoot printers, peripherals, smartphones, and ad-hoc devices.
Document and track all incidents/requests in the ticketing system.
Set clear expectations with end users and meet service-level timelines.
Prioritize/escalate incidents based on business impact.
Recommend improvements for processes and end-user experience.
Maintain current knowledge of core hardware, applications, and new technologies.
Assist with special projects as required.
Participate in the on-call rotation.
Technical Skills:
Experience with workstation, printer, and peripheral support.
Basic understanding of client/server environments.
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory & Azure AD.
Strong understanding of Windows OS & Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with SCCM imaging software.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
