Job Overview:

DtV Project Manager, Supply Chain \xe2\x80\x93 Coffee Beverages

This position is responsible for leading cross functional teams to drive integration of innovation, procurement, quality, finance, continuous improvement, supply chain planning, engineering, and manufacturing to optimize material costs and customer-oriented portfolio. The individual will work with internal & external business partners to drive full alignment of the project scope and timeline to ensure successful service across stakeholders.

The DtV Project Manager will engage as the primary point of contact for coordinating and ensuring timeline deliverables and strategic objectives are met. As a member of the Coffee Supply Chain Team, this position will share responsibility for developing, maintaining and improving formal project management methods and tools across the company in order to build and drive supply chain resiliency, productivity, improved quality & service and top line growth.

What you will do:

  • Process Excellence:
  • Leads cross-functional teams to integrate and align innovation, procurement, engineering, finance, supply chain and manufacturing objectives implement core DtV initiatives
  • Fosters a culture of innovation within the supply chain
  • Coordinates with the procurement team to drive cost savings and regularly identify areas for continuous improvement
  • Interface with other groups in KDP to introduce and drive DTV best practices; lead continuous improvement of analytic tools, methodologies, and visualization for the DTV team
  • Ideation:
  • Drive ideation for DtV, acting as the nexus for DtV ideas and execution for the Coffee Business unit
  • Partner with the BUs, finance, and other analytics groups to combine internal and external data sources to identify, assess, and prioritize strategic DTV opportunities, act as the keeper of data on DTV team
  • Execution:
  • Manages projects, including identifying and clearing roadblocks and escalating issues as necessary
  • Stays informed about the latest technologies and methodologies in the market including elements of spec and innovation
  • Spend data analyses to prioritize and sourcing team for more thorough sourcing-related analyses, including clean sheet development
  • Manage and coordinate cross functional teams to ensure requirements are validated and aligned to execute new product initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Brand, Sales, Engineering, Quality, R&D, external stakeholders and leadership to understand project requirements and development of project timelines.
  • Manage all Supply Chain Planning development and integration activities for assigned projects.
  • Prioritize multiple, and at times conflicting, project deliverables. Make recommendations as needed to ensure successful and flawless execution of assigned projects.
  • Communicate project requirements and launch strategy to manufacturing plants, as required.
  • Manage and update any tracking or reporting tools to monitor accuracy, on-time execution of deliverables for each project and impact to the Coffee Network (ie.: financial/productivity performance variance, OEE, Waste, UPDT, quality, OTIF, etc.).
  • Identify root causes to supply chain-related gaps in project timelines and risks to deliverables. Support and/or lead issue resolution to prevent reoccurrence and improve project management processes.
  • Foster a positive team environment where open communication and continuous improvement is valued.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree is preferred in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics, Business Management, and/or Marketing (pertaining to new product introduction)
  • MBA preferred but not required
  • Proven track record in driving process excellence
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills
  • Strong analytic skills with an emphasis on critical thinking, root cause analysis, and problem solving required
  • 25%-30% travel
