We are growing! Virginia Tile Co. is an industry-leading wholesale distributor of porcelain tile, natural stone, glass and artisan ceramics We have been providing tile to the architectural, home building and design industry since 1928. We now serve 14 states and we are growing.

Essential Functions:

Use creativity and design skills to deliver exceptional customer service Actively listen to customers to understand needs and present products that are consistent with customer needs and preferences Provide recommendations to meet space, style, and cost requirements Continually update and maintain knowledge of products including porcelain tile, natural stone, glass and Artisan Ceramics Maintain and merchandise the appearance of the showroom by keeping showroom displays visually exciting and enticing Maintain knowledge of competitors and their products Maintain literature, price lists, samples, supplies, and display boards

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Experience in sales environment strongly preferred Good oral and written communication skills Basic math, computer, and office skills High level of self-confidence and professionalism Ability to remain composed under pressure Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Client service-oriented Organized and detail-oriented Experience in interior design is strongly preferred Good oral and written communication skills Basic math, computer, and office skills, iOS experience preferred

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and training preferred, but not required 2+ years of design experience preferred, but not required Exposure to Building Materials, Architecture/Design, and Interior Finishes preferred, but not required
