The ultimate purpose of this role is to support the overall management of a contract providing 24x7x365 network, cyber, and cloud services to a government customer.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assists the Program Manager in the effective and efficient management of programs, projects, services, and activities for the Cyber Security Directorate (CSD).
Manages day-to-day operations, coordination with Government watch officers, subcontractors, staffing and management of 24/7/365 staff, and facilitating troubleshooting bridges.
Serves as a key leader and program representative, engaging with senior customer officials on all aspects of program performance.
Manages the deliverables for the program.
Manages, directs, and allocates resources to ensure on-time delivery of top-quality services to meet or exceed contract Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Supports the development and implementation of long-term IT roadmaps and strategy and monitor the alignment of tactical activities.
Performs risk management, including identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating risks, and communicating/escalating risks and issues.
Be available to support the customer during ad hoc and after-hours emergencies in a fast-paced operations environment.
Tracks project milestones, risks, issues, project health, dependencies, and funding.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or cybersecurity.
Must possess least 1 or a combination of the following: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Information Systems Security Professional Information Security System Management Professional (CISSP-ISSMP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH).
Five (5+) years of experience managing operational environment within 24/7/365 security operations.
Five (5+) years of direct project and program management experience in the delivery of information systems or computer network support services.
Proven SOC/Cyber Delivery: Proven, successful delivery of enterprise level support on large (100+ personnel) enterprise IT, cybersecurity, NOC, SOC, or similar program(s).
Cybersecurity Analysis: Demonstrated capabilities to analyze highly complex cybersecurity and network issues, recommend plans of action, and manage Contractor teams supporting resolution of these issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a CBP BI (Background Investigation).
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
