Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks within a busy dental clinic. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes. Manage patient scheduling, including appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling as needed. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. Handle clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence. Process patient insurance information and verify eligibility for services. Assist with medical coding using ICD-9 and ICD-10 standards when necessary. Provide support for patient inquiries regarding treatments, services, and billing. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the clinic. Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

Requirements

Previous experience in a medical or dental office preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction. Familiarity with medical records management and clerical tasks. Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding is a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
