We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of medical and dental office management, and proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and eClinicalWorks. This role requires a professional capable of managing fiscal responsibilities, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations like HIPAA, and maintaining exceptional patient care standards. The Dental Office Manager will serve as the key point of contact for administrative functions, practice management, and team coordination to ensure smooth and efficient clinic operations.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows
Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation
Supervise office staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and human resources functions
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA and JCAHO standards
Maintain accurate medical records and manage electronic health records (EHR/Epic/eClinicalWorks) systems
Coordinate with clinical staff to support nursing, acute care, critical care, and hospital experience requirements
Oversee billing processes, managed care contracts, utilization management, and insurance claims processing
Implement policies for medical administrative support and ensure adherence to medical terminology standards
Facilitate practice growth through strategic planning and process improvements
Monitor clinic performance metrics to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction
Requirements
Proven experience in medical office management or dental office experience with a strong understanding of healthcare operations
Supervising experience in a healthcare setting or clinic environment
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, eClinicalWorks
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical records management
Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting and financial oversight
Excellent leadership abilities with experience in human resources management
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical management practices, and healthcare compliance standards
Ability to handle complex administrative tasks within a fast-paced clinical environment
Relevant certifications or training in healthcare management or office administration is preferred
