Key Responsibilities
Post insurance and patient payments, verify insurance, and appeal denied insurance claims
Check in patients and preparing and presenting large or complex treatment plans
Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports from practice management system
Ability to interpret P&L statements and formulate business plans with goals and objectives
Formulate labor planning, implement business policy and procedures, and determine annual goals.
Conduct daily huddle meetings and weekly/monthly meetings that are forward focused
Establish schedules and work assignments for team members according to workload, space, and equipment
Interview and select top talent while creating long term strategies for employee retention and create individualized on-boarding plans for new team members
Identify growth areas, provide coaching, train, and create development plans for team
Advise and influence partner doctors to create office operational plans
Attend community board meetings and develop key outside community partnerships
Qualifications
Ability to delegate tasks effectively
Proactively manage performance expectations
Prioritization of competing commitments and initiatives
Ability to manage up, across and down effectively
Strong verbal and written communication
Customer service experience
Leadership and management experience
Dental office experienced (preferred)
