Responsibilities
Manage and follow up on insurance claims
Present treatment plans and financial options
Handle collections, payment arrangements, and AR monitoring
Maintain accurate documentation
Support case acceptance and collaborate with clinical team
Assist patients with financial inquiries, payment plans, and explain insurance benefits clearly to promote understanding and satisfaction.
Support office management tasks such as, appointment scheduling and multi-line phone handling.
Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility , as needed.
Maintain accurate dental records and documentation review to support billing accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
2+ years of dental insurance/financial coordination experience
Knowledge of CDT/CPT codes and insurance processes
Strong organizational, analytical, and customer service skills
Experience with dental practice management software (Curve preferred)
Skills
Excellent communication skills with patients, insurance providers, and team members
Bilingual abilities strongly preferred (Spanish)
Prior dental or clinical office experience; familiarity with dental terminology is a plus
Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment
