Kearns and Ashby Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a

compassionate and enthusiastic Dental Assistants

to join our dedicated team as we expand! With over 40 years of experience, our privately owned pediatric dental practice is proud to serve children and teens (up to age 16), including patients with special healthcare needs. Our offices are located in

Harrisburg (Union Deposit Rd)

and

Mechanicsburg (Trindle Rd)

. Experience is a plus, but we are always willing to train the right candidate.

About the Full time Position

Schedule

: 4 days/week, plus

1 operating room day/month

at a local hospital or surgery center

Hours

: 7:15 AM - 5:00 PM (with a 1-hour unpaid lunch)

No evenings or weekends!

Locations

: Must be available to work at

both Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg

locations along with travel to West Shore Surgery center

What We're Looking For

We're seeking individuals who are:

Patient, dependable, and energetic Comfortable interacting with children and teens Positive team players with a great attitude Experienced (preferred), though we're willing to train the right candidate

Key Responsibilities

Assist pediatric dentists with chairside procedures Use dental terminology to communicate effectively Take X-rays and maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant records Educate families on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Maintain a clean, sterile environment using aseptic techniques
