Dental Assistant

who holds a valid

Supragingival Scaler Certification

.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures. Perform supragingival scaling under the supervision of a licensed dentist. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment. Ensure patients are comfortable and well-informed throughout their visit. Maintain accurate patient records and charts. Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays). Perform infection control procedures according to practice and OSHA guidelines. Manage dental supply inventory and order as needed.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program. Valid Supragingival Scaler Certification. Current CPR/BLS certification. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Prior experience in a dental office preferred but not required.
