Williamsburg Smile Care is seeking a friendly, dedicated and outgoing Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated as they will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism and the ability to work efficiently as a team member in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. To include specialized areas such as prosthodontics .pediatric dentistry and oral surgery . Perform dental imaging tasks, which includes taking quality X-rays, while adhering to safety protocols. Assisting with treatment planning and dental charting Prepare treatment rooms for various procedures and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. sterilizing instruments while following proper infection control techniques. performing coronal polishing Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. fabricating temporary crowns and performing intraoral scanning. Taking inventory and ordering supplies

Skills

Proficiency in dental imaging techniques Strong organizational and computer skills for managing medical documentation and records. Experience in assisting with various dental procedures to include, restorative dentistry (pediatric and adult), extractions, prosthodontic Familiarity with appointment scheduling and patient communication Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and patients of all ages.

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
