**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, perform administrative tasks, and ensure excellent patient care. **Duties:** - Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures - Take and develop dental x-rays - Maintain accurate patient records - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies **Qualifications:** - Knowledge of medical records management - Proficiency in infection control protocols - Ability to perform patient assessments - Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or Epic - Understanding of medical terminology and anatomy - Experience in medical coding is a plus - Previous experience in assisting with dental procedures - CAD/CAM experience is desirable This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic dental practice where you can enhance your skills and contribute to providing high-quality patient care.
