We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our private dental clinic. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and other team members to deliver exceptional service while maintaining a welcoming environment for our patients.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical records and patient information using dental software. Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and clean working environment. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups to optimize clinic operations. Utilize 3D scanners for imaging when required, ensuring precision in capturing dental impressions. Collaborate with the dental team to maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.

Experience

Candidates should possess a solid understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and experience working in a dental clinic environment. Familiarity with medical records management is essential. Proficiency in using dental software systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft, along with experience in utilizing 3D intra-oral scanners, is highly desirable. Interest in 3D Printing is a plus. A background in aseptic techniques and X-ray procedures will be considered an asset. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
