Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate medical documentation and update patient records using systems such as Eaglesoft or similar Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care. Manage appointment scheduling, including confirmations and reminders for patients. Assist with administrative tasks, including filing and maintaining medical records. Support the dental team in various tasks related to general dentistry, pediatrics, endodontics, and other specialties as required.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant Knowledge of anatomy, general dentistry practices, and endodontics is advantageous. Familiarity with medical documentation systems such as Eaglesoft is a plus Proficiency in using 3D scanners for imaging is desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate medical records. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $27.00 per hour
