The working schedule for this position is Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional Mondays as needed.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Chairside Assistance:

Support the doctor during examinations, surgical procedures, post-operative care, and other related treatments. Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and operatory cleanliness Take digital X-rays, CBCT scans, and intraoral photos as needed Monitor patient vitals and provide pre- and post-operative instructions Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records Ensure all sterilization protocols and infection control standards are met Help manage inventory and order surgical supplies Perform lab duties such as designing, preparing, and handling dental materials, fabricating temporary restorations, and managing impressions and models.

Patient Care:

Accurately record patient medical histories and vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse. Provide clear instructions on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care to ensure optimal recovery. Strive to deliver a positive and memorable experience for every patient at each visit.

Sterilization & Infection Control:

Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols to maintain a safe, hygienic clinical environment. Routinely inspect, clean, and maintain dental instruments and equipment to ensure proper function and safety.

Team Culture & Engagement:

Contribute to a supportive, respectful, and enjoyable workplace by fostering positive relationships with team members. Actively participate in morning huddles, team meetings, and office events to stay aligned and engaged with practice goals and culture.

Requirements:

Certified/Registered Dental Assistant (CDA/RDA) Expanded function in Radiation and Safety is required. Nitrous and Coronal polishing are a plus. Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience; surgical experience preferred CPR certification required Excellent communication, multitasking, and patient care skills Positive attitude, team player, and a willingness to learn

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
