Job Description

The Dental Assistant is responsible for providing outstanding patient care and assists the Dentist in providing dental treatment. Dental Assistants may perform a special group of duties called expanded functions, which can be performed independently by a Certified Dental Assistant. The Dental Assistant displays responsible behaviors, communicates effectively to others and functions as a member of dental team. The Dental Assistant must demonstrate competency in all skills related to the performance of patient care.

High school diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program

Certification by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) as a Certified Dental Assistant in General Dentistry

X-ray certification required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.71 per hour
