We'd love to have you join our team. Previous dental experience not required. A great attitude and a strong work ethic are our first priorities. Looking for someone willing to be taught and trained.

Some qualities we are looking for in a clinical office assistant are:

Empathetic and caring towards patients Great customer service skills
Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain a positive rapport with patients, parents, doctors and staff:

Problem solver Self starter (time management skills, this is a faster paced practice)
CDA preferred but willing to office train.

Responsibilities

Preparing patients for dental work. Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures. Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary. Assisting dental hygienists with procedures when necessary. Providing great patient care. Recording treatment information in patient records. Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist. Support clinical treatment of patients: Listening to patient's needs and educating them on dental procedures Adhering to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures Organizing and maintaining lab equipment Taking x-rays Caring for dental equipment. Taking preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts. (DA II only) Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory. Fabricating temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions. (DA II only)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 36 per week
