Looking for an experienced

dental assistant

for a dental office in Glendale, Queens. Our office is beautifully designed, equipped with the latest dental technologies, and known throughout the neighborhood for a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Experience as a dental assistant is NECESSARY.

Ortho experience is mandatory!

Sterilization, changing rooms, seating patients, xrays, procedures set-up and general maintenance duties.

PPO and private patient office. No medicaid, no HMO, no capitation.

Schedule:
Monday 9-5
Tuesday 9-5
Thursday 10-6
Friday 2-7 (ortho only)
Saturday (3 per month) 9-2

YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO:

Do 4 handed dentistry
Take xrays
Set up tools and materials for various procedures
Execute sterilization procedures
Assist chairside for adjustments
Records, formatting and uploading into the software
Take X-Rays
Submit aligner cases
Fabricate essix retainers
Itero scanning and 3D printing
Set up properly for procedures
Do ortho re-ties including steel tying teeth
Comprehensive Ortho Experience (Mandatory)

Must be friendly, people oriented and skilled. Lots of potential to grow. Our staff is highly professional, friendly and unified as a team. The Dr. is very skilled and well liked by his patients. The practice is a neighborhood fixture and the most trusted and well known office in the area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
