Specialist office looking for a Full-time Dental Assistant.

We are looking for a Skilled Dental Assistant. A Caring and energetic person to join our awesome state-of- the- art Specialist practice in Ellicott City!

1-year dental assisting experience preferred but we will also train the right person and invest in your growth.

Duties

Assist the dentist specialist during a variety of treatment procedures (will help train) . Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols. Take dental X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety standards. (X-Ray certification required) Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Manage patient flow by preparing treatment rooms and ensuring patients are comfortable. Schedule appointments and manage the dental clinic's front desk duties as needed. Perform vital signs checks as part of the patient assessment process.

Skills

Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices. Experience in chairside assisting within general dentistry and endodontics. Familiarity with taking 3D CBCT scans, training also available onsite. Understanding of medical documentation, coding, and record management. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
