Dental Assistant - Full-Time (M-Th, 8 AM - 5 PM) | Same-Day Digital Specialist (EDDA Preferred, Spanish Speaking Preferred)We are a cutting-edge, digital-first dental practice seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA preferred) to drive same-day restorative and removable prosthetic workflows. Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred to serve our diverse patient base.Schedule

Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM (lunch) No Fridays, weekends, or evenings
Key Responsibilities

Assist with IV sedation cases under dentist supervision (vital signs monitoring, airway support, emergency readiness) - no IV certification required Operate Glidewell.io FastScan intraoral scanner for same-day crown preps, design verification, and final seatings Manage Dandy removable workflow: digital impressions, delivery, and chairside adjustments for dentures, partials, and night guards Place and finish composite fillings (EDDA scope) Perform chairside scanning for crowns, bridges and implants. Deliver and adjust removable prosthetics with attention to occlusion and patient comfort Maintain seamless digital workflow (scanner ? Glidewell/Dandy portal ? milling/seating) Prep and turnover operatories for high-volume same-day and sedation cases Communicate treatment plans, post-op care, and instructions in Spanish when needed
Required Skills & Qualifications

Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA/RDA) EDDA certification strongly preferred (allows placing/finishing restorations) Minimum 1 year experience assisting with IV sedation (no permit required) Minimum 1 year intraoral scanning experience (Glidewell FastScan, iTero, Medit, etc.) Proficiency in same-day crown workflows and digital lab portals Hands-on experience with Dandy or 3D-printed removable appliances Confident in placing/finishing restorations (fillings, sealants) Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, and basic sedation support Fluent in Spanish (medical/dental terminology preferred) Calm, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in fast-paced, tech-driven environment
