Responsibilities

Clinical Support

Assist the dentist during all clinical procedures, including restorative, endodontic, surgical, and preventive appointments Prepare rooms, trays, and instruments prior to procedures Perform proper sterilization and infection control protocols Take high-quality digital X-rays (experience with Dexis or similar systems is a plus) Capture digital intraoral photos Manage impressions, models, and lab cases Maintain treatment rooms for cleanliness and readiness Provide postoperative instructions to patients as directed by the dentist

Patient Care & Communication

Welcome patients warmly and ensure they feel comfortable and informed Review medical histories, medications, and consent forms Update patient records in the practice management system (Dentrix Ascend experience preferred but not required) Educate patients on oral health, treatment procedures, and aftercare

Office & Team Support

Maintain equipment according to OSHA and office guidelines Track and restock dental supplies Support front office staff as needed (e.g., scheduling, answering phones) Contribute to a smooth, efficient workflow and positive office culture

Qualifications

Dental Assisting experience preferred

, but we are open to training the right motivated candidate X-ray certification (Required) Knowledge of four-handed dentistry Excellent communication and patient-service skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Professional, dependable, and eager to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm, friendly demeanor

Monday-Friday
