Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks and other delivery vans to transport goods to various locations following assigned routes. Load and unload shipments using equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring items are handled with care and stored securely. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly. Deliver products directly to customers' business locations, providing friendly and professional customer service throughout each interaction. Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal delivery sequences to meet deadlines while maintaining safety protocols. Assist in warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing stock, and maintaining cleanliness to support overall operational efficiency. Follow all safety procedures related to heavy lifting, manual transmission driving, and operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks.

Skills

Background Check Required. Intermediate Math/Counting skills. Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong focus on route driving and customer service excellence. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual moving tasks safely and efficiently. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles. Excellent organizational skills for managing deliveries, loads, unloads, and route planning. Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, along with knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting and equipment operation.
