Job Description

Thank you for viewing this Delivery Driver and Warehouse Worker position at our company Deborah\'s Party Rentals. This is a full-time hourly paid position with Overtime paid potential. Duties include working with event rental equipment like tables, chairs, tents, inflatables, small amusement rides, and more, but not limited to the following:

• Loading and Unloading Delivery trucks with Event Rental Equipment
• Cleaning and Maintaining Event Rental Equipment
• Setting up Event Rental Equipment like
• Being an attendant with our small amusement rides and inflatables
• Working with kids at events
• Driving delivery trucks
• Communicating with Management to coordinate the correct items go to the correct place.
• Communicating with Customers on delivery routes and on-site for proper installation and setup for safety.

Working Conditions:

• Normal business hours are 7am - 5pm but this is not a normal business.
• Busy season is April through mid-November. It is very slow in December through mid-March.
• There are late nights and early mornings at various times of the year because of planned events to be picked up or delivered at certain times.
• Physical demands include lifting heavy items, tents, inflatables, and hardware.
• There are more work outdoors than indoors.

Required Education and Experience

• Event Rental Industry experience is a plus
• Valid Driver\'s License
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check
• Technical knowledge with smartphones for use with GPS, Slack communication, and online scheduling.
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Learning Attitude

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour Benefits:

• Overnight shift
• Weekend availability

• Gardendale, AL 35071: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
