What you'll do

Navigate local routes efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations and safety protocols. Load and unload deliveries with care, ensuring products are handled properly to prevent damage. Provide outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Operate box trucks and other delivery vehicles, including manual transmission when necessary. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Utilize warehouse experience to assist in inventory management and organization as needed. Collaborate with team members to streamline delivery processes and enhance overall efficiency. Handle heavy lifting and moving of packages, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when required.

Basic qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role with route driving responsibilities. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with clients.

Preferred qualifications

Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics operations. Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles in a commercial setting. Ability to lift heavy items regularly and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods.
