We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring exceptional customer service. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for timely and efficient deliveries. This position requires strong driving skills, the ability to lift items, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
Safely operate your delivery vehicles, including to transport goods to designated locations.
Follow assigned routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred.
Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
Experience working in a warehouse environment is a plus.
Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries.
