This is a Full-Time OR Part-Time driver position with South Sound Express Delivery, LLC., a family ran, team-oriented business, partnered with Amazon to deliver packages.
We need reliable, independent, flexible, hard workers who have the ability to pay attention to detail, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations, adhere to road safety requirements and perform in a physically fast-paced environment! Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, can communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done. - $23.00-26.00/ hour (paid biweekly) Starting pay is 23.00/hr opportunities for pay increase based on performance and tenure.
- Future opportunities for 401K and tuition assistance
- 10+ hour shifts are typical. Shift starts at 7:00am (no other shift start time available)
- 4-day workweek (40 hours) is typical for full time associates
- Expect morning/daytime shift with potential to work extra shift days if desired/needed
- A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute lunch break

- Successfully and safely handle and deliver packages on time
- Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle, follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies. Drivers are monitored while on road and held to safety expectations.
- Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions.
- Keep pace in very physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 50 lbs); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations. (Route typically consists of 200+ packages)
- Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed.
- Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
- Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle in a timely, safe manner
- Support the team in daily work requirements, including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
- Must be Authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana) and a 7 year pre-employment background check
- Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
- Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation to team offsite
- Must be able to lift and move packages of up to 50lbs
- Must be able to use GPS and device/app technology proficiently
- Must be available to work at least 1 weekend day and be flexible to business scheduling needs.
