The Delivery Driver position is responsible for transport and delivery of frozen meals from the SeniorAge Production Center to the appropriate Senior Centers and other Clients as needed. The Delivery Driver will safely and efficiently deliver finished goods, products, and materials to customers in a timely and professional manner. The Delivery Driver must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and have good communication and organization skills. This individual is directly responsible to the Senior Center Lead.

The Delivery Driver accurately completes all records and forms as required. This is an essential outcome of the Delivery Driver.
Essential Functions

Operates the agency's truck according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws, and observing all safety regulations.
Deftly maneuvers truck and/or trailer into loading and unloading areas; follows loading crew signals.
Assists with loading of goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; unloads empty skids and returns all equipment to designated area.
Maintains signed invoices and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to Production Center Manager or other appropriate staff when delivery route is complete.
Facilitates routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; reports maintenance malfunctions to Supervisor.
Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
Maintains all required certifications.
Participates in agency training as directed
Maintains and protects all property in excellent condition.
If time allows or circumstance demands, assists at the production center with operations: serving on a line, pulling product, making boxes, etc.
Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.

Technical
Must hold required commercial driver's license appropriate for weight of vehicle to be operated and a good driving record.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Must be good at working with others and have good communication/organization skills.
Physical & Other:
1. Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time.
2. Reliable and predictable attendance is expected and needed for this position.
3. Adequate transportation and personal communication devices that support safety and task fulfillment matching the responsibilities of this position are the responsibility of the person holding this position.
