Delivery Driver

Position Summary:

The Delivery Driver will safely transport, deliver, and set up medical equipment at nursing homes and long-term care facilities. This role requires a professional, customer-focused individual who can handle medical equipment carefully, interact courteously with facility staff, and follow all company safety and delivery procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate company vehicles to deliver medical equipment to nursing homes. Load, transport, and unload equipment carefully, ensuring it arrives in proper condition. Set up and install equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and company procedures. Perform basic equipment checks to confirm operational status upon delivery. Provide excellent customer service, including interacting professionally with nursing home staff. Document deliveries, collect signatures, and maintain accurate records. Report any delivery issues, equipment damage, or facility concerns to management. Follow company safety protocols and traffic regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and safely maneuver large medical equipment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Prior delivery or warehouse experience is a plus, preferably in healthcare or medical equipment distribution.

Work Environment:

Primarily on the road, delivering to nursing homes and long-term care facilities. Some loading and unloading in warehouse or storage areas. Occasional weekend work as needed.
