Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a professional with a strong driving record, familiarity with warehouse operations, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Prior experience with commercial driving, box trucks, and route driving is highly valued.

Duties

Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver products to customers and clients across designated routes Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques Ensure accurate delivery of goods by following specified routes and schedules Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including answering questions and addressing concerns professionally Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and delivery equipment Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, stock movement, and organizing shipments when needed Complete delivery paperwork accurately and report any issues or delays promptly Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety on the road

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with knowledge of route driving and navigation skills Strong customer service skills to represent the company professionally during deliveries Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks with manual transmissions Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to moving cargo, including load & unload activities Familiarity with warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if necessary) Good driving record with a valid driver's license or equivalent commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing schedules Physical stamina for long periods of driving and manual handling tasks

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
