Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires experience with route driving, heavy lifting, and operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks. The Delivery Driver will play a vital role in maintaining our company's reputation for dependability and quality service.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver products to customers and clients across designated routes Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper handling of goods Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries Verify delivery contents against invoices and obtain signatures when required Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation of completed routes Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory or organizing stock as needed

Requirements

Ability to pass background check and drug test. Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or similar role with route driving expertise Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; Commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory Experience operating box trucks, manual transmission vehicles, forklifts, and pallet jacks is highly desirable Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving cargo safely Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with load & unload procedures Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo handling Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing schedules or routes
