Job Description

Work Activities:

Secure loads onto delivery truck & trailer. Deliver and pick up loads to/from customers and suppliers. Transfer proper packing slips and paperwork. Will communicate with shipping / receiving specialist. Assist Shipping Clerk (wrapping pallets, weights, etc) Work with maintenance technician to keep delivery vehicles in proper working order. Operate forklift & transfer materials as needed. Load and unload LTL trucks as needed. Assist with Inventory Restocking. Follow written and oral instructions. Adapt to a changing work environment, competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Responsible for 5S and cleanliness of designated work areas daily. Perform safe work habits. Assist in Quality Control and Quality Inspection. Assist in Production activities as needed, including but not limited to operating fabrication machines. Other duties as assigned by management.
Skills and Abilities:

Must have superior organizational and multi-tasking skills. Must have a clean driving record. Must be able to obtain medical card. 5 year minimum delivery driver experience Experience in a manufacturing or production setting preferred. Ability to work independently with little supervision and within a team-based environment. Prioritize tasks. Ability to operate forklift safely. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Communication: Read and understand work related materials. Communicates with management, production control, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve any issues.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
