We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and have experience in route driving. You will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and representing our company with professionalism.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including moving items and operating equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Experience in commercial driving, including familiarity with manual transmission vehicles. Knowledge of route driving techniques for efficient navigation and delivery planning. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading tasks. Experience in moving items within a warehouse setting is preferred. Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to schedules.
