Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will transport goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time while adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the delivery vehicle is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Assist in organizing inventory and preparing shipments for delivery as needed.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be able to stay alert while driving, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Experience in commercial driving or as a van driver is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks, with a focus on safety. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Familiarity with operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility in working hours may be required based on delivery schedules.
