As a Delivery Driver, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, operating company vehicles to ensure efficient freight delivery and pickup while providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities include navigating designated routes, adhering to all traffic regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, and promptly reporting any incidents or concerns to management. While no prior experience is necessary, candidates with delivery experience will be favored.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver freight and collect pickups from multiple stops on route in a timely manner Load and unload vehicle daily while using a scanner to keep track of freight Inspect and monitor delivery vehicle, checking vehicle brakes, tires, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, and water supply Maintain a clean vehicle interior and exterior and refuel as needed Navigate route according to company software Communicate with customers professionally and obtain signatures for deliveries Demonstrate physical agility to handle various tasks, including lifting, bending, walking, and driving for extended periods Participate in ongoing training sessions according to TSA guidelines Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and utilize appropriate safety equipment

Requirements

Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or other related fields Strong communication skills Proficiency in writing and speaking English Possession of a valid driver's license Clean driving record and background check Successful completion of pre-employment and random drug screenings Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting up to 70 pounds Deadline-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Knowledge of local traffic patterns Flexibility, positive attitude, and punctuality are paramount to success in this role
